【酒莊與田地】Chateau Montrose 的葡萄園環繞酒莊本體,地塊連綿一氣呵成,礫石與沙面層上覆黏土,深層儲水讓葡萄在乾熱期仍能穩定發展。2008 年收成在 9 月下旬至 10 月中完成,配合人工綠枝整理與嚴格選果,品質非常穩定。

【侍酒師私房筆記】杯色深紫。先是黑加侖、黑莓的果實感,慢慢推進出雪茄盒、煙草、雪松和泥土的氣息。入口厚實,單寧結實且有顆粒感,但中段有一條清爽酸度讓整體不顯沉重。橡木帶來香料和烤木香,收結精準且餘韻綿長。建議倒醒約 90 分鐘,以 16–18°C 侍奉。

【Winemaker & Vineyard】Crafted at Chateau Montrose from a single, continuous 95-hectare estate, the 2008 harvest (29 Sep – 15 Oct) benefited from a well-draining gravel over clay subsoil and a drying estuary breeze. Fermentation and a strict selection regime in both vineyard and cellar produced a wine matured for 18 months in 60% new French oak.

【Sommelier's Private Note】Dense purple in the glass. Aromas of blackcurrant and black raspberry move into tobacco, cedar and an earthy forest-floor seam. On the palate it’s full-bodied with firm, grainy tannins and a thread of fresh acidity that keeps the mid-palate lively. The oak is present but integrated, giving spice and sweet-wood frames; the finish is long and precise. Decant ~90 minutes and serve at 16–18°C.

【Occasion / Pairing】Ideal for a celebratory roast dinner, hotel steak night, or a special family banquet — pairs best with beef, lamb or game and mature hard cheeses.
