金黃帶銅光澤，酒杯一搖便飄出濃郁又細緻的香氣：黑巧克力、奶油太妃糖與深色水果的甜美，夾帶出野蜜與香草的柔和香調，檸皮與柑橘的清爽點綴，海鹽與淡淡泥炭煙霧為整體帶來礦質與海風感。口感飽滿油潤，甜度偏中高但層次分明，果乾、糖漬橙皮和香料逐步展開，尾韻則是悠長的煙燻與胡椒辛香。此酒在歐肯島溫和氣候中，以第一填充的雪莉橡木（歐洲與美洲）與波本桶交互陳年，木桶與島上泥炭、海風共同塑造出具深度與優雅的風格。建議空杯醒約15分鐘或加入一兩滴水，讓香氣與口感更開放。

Colour is a warm gold with copper hints — natural cask-driven tone. The nose is an intricate weave of dried fruits and rich confectionery: dark chocolate, fudge and nutty toffee meet heather honey, vanilla and summer berry notes, with bright citrus peel lifting the profile and a soft maritime brine beneath. On the palate it’s oily and full-bodied: honeyed sweetness and ripe stone fruit evolve into spiced orange, milk chocolate and layered oak-derived toffee. Fine peat smoke and peppery spice thread through to a long, smoky, satisfying finish. Producer notes highlight maturation in a mix of first-fill sherry-seasoned European and American oak casks plus bourbon casks in Orkney’s temperate climate — the result is depth, vibrant sweetness and a commanding, elegant character. Best enjoyed neat or with a few drops of water and 10–20 minutes breathing to open the complex layers.
