Chateau d'Issan stands as one of the most historic jewels of Margaux, crafting wines once poured for royal dynasties. The vineyard is nestled within a privileged enclosed gravel terroir over a deep clay subsoil, ensuring flawless ripening while preserving natural vivacity.

Winemaker Emmanuel Cruse directs a precise plot-by-plot vinification in temperature-controlled tanks, favouring exceptionally gentle extraction to safeguard purity. The wine matures patiently for 18 months in fine French oak barrels to weave its signature aristocratic texture.

The bouquet leaps from the glass with quintessential Margaux violet perfumes, crushed stones, dark berries, and wild strawberries. On the palate, it delivers a stunning balance of tension and plush concentration. The tannins glide with seamless silkiness, culminating in an opulent, persistent mineral-driven finish.
