2022 Mollydooker Carnival of Love Shiraz

生產與釀造：酒莊由 Sarah 與 Sparky Marquis 經營，此酒來自 McLaren Vale 的 Gateway 葡萄園。採用桶內發酵，並在100%美國橡木桶中熟成──全部採用新桶，賦予明顯的香草、烤木與香料風味；採螺旋蓋封口以保留新鮮度。

Tasting note: Deep, sumptuous and unapologetically bold — this Carnival of Love opens with perfumed violet and lilac notes before a rush of concentrated dark-blue fruit, blueberry compote and black cherry. Layers of dark chocolate, scorched earth, graphite and sweet pipe tobacco follow, wrapped in lavish vanilla and spice from extensive new American oak. The mouthfeel is broad and pillowy, with generous alcohol tempered by bright freshness and well‑hidden, sweet tannins.
Producer notes: From the Mollydooker stable under Sarah and Sparky Marquis, this bottling comes from the single Gateway vineyard in McLaren Vale. The label is known for voluptuous, fruit-forward wines that balance power with approachability.
Winemaking: Barrel fermented and matured 100% in American oak — all new barrels — producing pronounced oak-derived spice and vanilla. The wine is finished under screwcap to preserve freshness.
Vineyard: Grapes sourced from the Gateway vineyard in McLaren Vale, a rich site that yields concentrated fruit ideal for bold, structured wines.
Serve: Best decanted for about 60 minutes and enjoyed with grilled or roasted red meats. Drinking window: 2025–2040.
