Tasting Note: Deep garnet in the glass with an immediate bouquet of ripe dark berries, black cherry and a lift of cracked black pepper and warm spice. Layers of sweet oak, cocoa and a hint of smoked meat lead into a concentrated palate — plush dark fruit framed by velvety, ripe tannins and fresh acidity. The finish is long and savory with lingering spice and dark chocolate echoes.

Producer & Vineyard: From the team at Two Hands Wines, this wine showcases fruit sourced from selected Eden Valley parcels with cool nights and good exposure. Under the stewardship of viticulturist Travis Coombe and owner Michael Twelftree, parcels are managed to preserve site expression and balance.

Winemaking: With Ben Perkins overseeing, grapes are handled parcel-by-parcel to retain purity of fruit. Fermentation was undertaken in small lots, with careful extraction to build structure while keeping a plush mouthfeel. A period in oak imparts gentle spice and sweetness without overwhelming the core fruit, resulting in a concentrated yet poised wine built for medium-term ageing.

Serve & Pairing: Decant for about 45 minutes to allow primary aromas to open and tannins to relax. Ideal with grilled or roasted red meats, game, herb-scented lamb or mature cheeses. Drinking window stretches into the next decade as the wine gradually integrates and softens.
