Winemaker & Vineyard Notes: From Domaine Sylvain Pataille's Marsannay parcel Le Chapitre, this 2022 shows the house approach: natural fermentations, gentle extraction and maturation in small French oak with limited new wood. The parcels sit on mixed limestone and clay soils that lend a mineral seam under the fruit.
Sommelier's Tasting Note: Bright cherry and wild strawberry at the forefront, edged by cranberry acidity and a slatey, almost saline mineral thread.
