2023 Markus Molitor Pinot Blanc Einstern* Dry

Bright and balanced, this 2023 release from Weingut Markus Molitor opens with citrus zest, pear and gentle white flower aromas edged by a cool slate-like mineral note. The palate is dry and focused: crunchy acidity drives flavors of green apple and ripe stone fruit, while fine texture from brief lees contact gives a rounded mid-palate. Clean, slightly almond-tinged finish. Producer notes: from Markus Molitor’s Einstern range, made to showcase the Mosel’s cool-climate finesse and site expression. Winemaking: hand-harvested fruit, gentle whole-bunch pressing, cool fermentation in stainless steel with subtle lees ageing for mouthfeel; no new oak so fruit and terroir remain front and centre. Vineyard: fruit sourced from steep, cool Mosel sites with mineral-rich soils and meticulous, low-intervention viticulture aimed at highlighting freshness and clarity.
