向竹鶴政孝致敬的經典調和純麥：香氣先以柔和煙燻、麥芽與香草橡木打底，繼而透出焦糖、烤果乾與細緻香料。入口飽滿且滑順，豐富口感帶出太妃糖與烘烤橡木的溫暖，收結長而帶煙熏餘韻。

酒廠理念與釀造：由Nikka兩大蒸餾廠所產的麥芽威士忌調和而成，經橡木桶熟成以建立厚度與香料感，2020年調整配方更著重平衡與口感。生產程序以傳統鍋式蒸餾、細緻的桶陳管理與嚴格拼配為核心。

田地與原料：雖非葡萄酒，但風味仍來自麥芽來源與蒸餾廠的地理差異——海岸與內陸的氣候為酒體帶來微妙的海風與果香。整體風格兼具海岸煙燻與果香柔和的一面。

飲用建議：常溫單飲或加幾滴水以展開香氣，倒杯後靜置10–20分鐘讓層次逐步顯現。搭配煙燻、燒烤或口感厚實的食物最合拍。

A tribute to founder Masataka Taketsuru, this blended malt from Nikka balances elegance and depth. On the nose expect layered smoke and malt, with vanilla, toasted oak and a thread of dried orchard fruit. The palate is broad and silky — rich caramel and toffee give way to baking spice, toasted oak and an enduring, gently smoky tail. Producer notes describe a precise blending philosophy inherited from Taketsuru: malt whiskies from Nikka’s distilleries are married to achieve complexity without losing harmony.

Winemaking (distillation) notes: created from a selection of malt whiskies drawn from Nikka’s houses, matured predominantly in oak casks to build texture and spice. The 2020 release refines the formula and label, sharpening balance and mouthfeel. Production focuses on time-honoured pot still distillation, careful cask management and meticulous blending rather than single-cask flamboyance.

Vineyard (sourcing) notes: though not a wine, the spirit’s character reflects the malting barley and the terroir of the distilleries — coastal and inland influences from Nikka’s sites contribute subtle maritime and fruity edges. The blend showcases the distillery’s ability to combine coastal smokiness with softer, fruit-forward malts.

Serve neat or with a few drops of water to open aromatics; allow 10–20 minutes after pouring for the full profile to reveal itself. A confident, versatile dram that pairs especially well with smoky, grilled and richly textured foods.
