2020 Vieux Chateau Perey

品飲筆記:老佩雷 2020 帶著成熟紅黑果香,李子與黑莓的果實感明顯,夾帶雪松、煙草與微礦質氣息。入口時果味厚實但不沉重,酸度帶動整體節奏,單寧細緻而有支撐,橡木味與果香融合,收尾帶些微香料和鹹礦感,餘韻持久。

酒莊風格:老佩雷酒莊注重展現聖艾美濃產區的風土特色,採用分級挑選,重視在園與在釀造過程中的細節管理,追求平衡與品飲的優雅感。

釀造介紹:人工採收並去梗,溫控發酵以保留新鮮果香,較長時間浸皮以建立結構,完成乳酸發酵後於法國橡木桶中熟成以圓潤酒體,桶材新舊混用以避免過度木味。

葡萄園與氣候:葡萄園座落於典型的石灰岩與黏土混合土壤,坡向有利日照與排水,採低產管理以提高果實濃縮度。2020年成熟期條件良好,成就了果實飽滿但保持鮮明酸度的酒款。整體口感紮實、有層次,適合搭配紅肉與熟成料理。


Tasting note: Attractive in its youth, this Saint‑Émilion Grand Cru shows a core of ripe black cherry and plum with notes of cassis, cedar and a hint of tobacco and graphite. The palate is concentrated yet poised—juicy dark fruit layered over subtle savory and earthy accents, fine-grained tannins and a supportive backdrop of French oak. Acidity gives lift and balance, leading to a long, gently drying finish.

Producer notes: From Vieux Château Perey, a domaine dedicated to expressing the mineral soils and microclimate of Saint‑Émilion Grand Cru. Fruit is harvested selectively and handled with an emphasis on gentle extraction to preserve freshness and varietal character.

Winemaking notes: Hand-harvested fruit, destemmed and fermented with attentive temperature control. Extended maceration to build structure, followed by full malolactic fermentation and élevage in French oak (combination of used and a portion of newer barrels) for rounding and integration.

Vineyard notes: Vines are planted on typical Saint‑Émilion soils—layers of limestone and clay that provide mineral grip and ripening consistency. Yields are managed for concentration, and south/southeast exposures help achieve ripe tannins and balanced acidity in warm vintages such as 2020.

Serve slightly below room temperature after about 45 minutes of decanting. Ideal with grilled or roasted red meats, slow-cooked stews and aged cheeses.
