品飲筆記:酒色深邃帶紫紅光澤,香氣以成熟紅果為主,隨之展現香料、煙草與皮革的細緻層次。口感圓潤包覆,厚實飽滿但不笨重,單寧結構明確且磨得細緻,橡木香柔和點綴,餘韻持久。 酒莊概述:這是莊園的二號酒,承襲旗艦酒的一貫理念:強調風土與勻稱度,同時保有更為親切、較早展現風采的性格。由經驗豐富的釀酒團隊掌舵,兼顧精細與一致性。 釀造說明:採小籃人工採收與雙重篩選(含光學選粒),分地塊、分品種分開發酵。於不鏽鋼與混凝土槽以22–28°C溫度發酵,浸皮約10–15天後進行乳酸發酵,之後置入法國小橡木桶熟成約15個月(25%新桶),最後回瓶陳放出貨。 葡萄園與氣候:位於波爾格里沿海地區,受海風調節,2020年夏季炎熱而果實成熟良好,八月底的降雨搭配涼夜讓果酸與風味得以保留,整體風土表現清晰可辨。 飲用建議:建議醒酒1至1.5小時讓酒更開放,現飲或於未來8–10年內享用皆宜,搭配烤牛排、羊或風乾熟成乳酪最佳。

Tasting Note: Deep ruby with purple highlights, this 2020 reveals generous aromas of ripe red fruit layered with spice, tobacco leaf and gentle leather. On the palate it is smooth and rounded yet substantial — full-bodied and well balanced, with a plush mid-palate, firm but ripe structure and a long, resonant finish accented by fine French oak. Producer Notes: Le Serre Nuove is Ornellaia’s proud second wine, crafted under the same philosophy as the estate’s flagship. It offers an approachable expression that mirrors the estate’s character, combining youthful energy with early charm and the capacity to evolve in bottle. Winemaking Notes: Grapes were handpicked into small baskets, double-sorted by hand (and with optical selection), and vinified parcel by parcel. Fermentation took place partly in stainless steel and partly in concrete vats at 22–28°C, with maceration totalling 10–15 days. Malolactic fermentation occurred in stainless steel, followed by 15 months ageing in barriques (25% new, 75% once-used) and a further period in bottle prior to release. Vineyard Notes / Vintage: The 2020 season began with a mild winter, a cool March and generally warm spring. A very hot, dry stretch through the summer was followed by relief from late August rains and cooling nights — ideal conditions that allowed even ripening and preserved freshness. The estate’s coastal Bolgheri sites contribute sunny ripeness balanced by cooling night-time breezes. Service & Cellaring: Drink from now through the next decade; decant for 60–90 minutes to let the tannic framework relax and the aromatic layers open. Pairs superbly with grilled red meat, richer pasta dishes and mature cheeses.

Ornellaia — a benchmark Bolgheri estate now part of Famiglia Frescobaldi — is celebrated for concentrated, polished red wines that marry Mediterranean warmth with precise winemaking. Le Serre Nuove was created as the estate’s second wine to reflect the personality of Ornellaia in a more approachable style. Winemaker Olga Fusari oversees meticulous vineyard selection and modern cellar techniques including optical sorting and careful barrel ageing.
