品飲筆記:一入口是飽滿的黑色水果香,黑醋栗與黑櫻桃帶出果實感,隨後浮現礦物氣息、鉛筆屑和可可、濃郁咖啡香。法國橡木的烘烤與香料味明顯,結構緊緻但不失優雅。生產與酒莊:作品一號源自羅斯柴爾德與蒙大維的合作理念,酒莊追求長期一致的高品質,既保留傳統手法,也在有利時導入現代技術。釀造與陳年:葡萄多以人工採收,嚴格分揀後在法國橡木桶中陳釀約19個月,呈現細緻的橡木與集中單寧。葡萄園環境:葡園位於Oakville西側,包括位於著名To Kalon的兩塊地塊,以及包圍酒廠的Ballestra與River地塊,土壤與朝向帶來良好的成熟度與礦物感。建議與保存:年輕時單寧較緊,建議開瓶醒約90分鐘;陳年潛力長(約2027–2053),適合搭配烤牛肉、野味或成熟硬質起司。


Tasting Note: Generous, savory dark-fruit layers of ripe blackcurrant and fresh black cherry open first, then reveal graphite and pencil-shaving minerality with cocoa and espresso beneath. Toasty, spicy French oak is evident, giving a slightly toasty edge while structure remains tight and ageworthy.
Producer & Winery Notes: Opus One is the realized collaboration of Baron Philippe de Rothschild and Robert Mondavi, a joint venture dedicated to uncompromising quality and long-term consistency. The estate focuses on meticulous vineyard care and classic winemaking traditions while adopting modern techniques where they enhance quality.
Winemaking & Ageing: Fermented and matured in French oak for about 19 months, the wine shows polished oak influence and firm extraction—balanced but built for cellaring. Hand-harvesting and careful sorting are practiced to ensure purity and concentration.
Vineyard Notes: Fruit is sourced from four estate parcels in western Oakville AVA, including two parcels within the famed To Kalon Vineyard plus the Ballestra and River parcels that surround the winery. Soils, aspect and old-vine influence deliver concentrated fruit and mineral tension.
Cellaring & Drink Window: Built to age—best drinking 2027–2053. Decant about 90 minutes for early drinking to allow the tannins and oak to soften; longer opens more complexity.
