麥卡倫 Classic Cut 2024 屬於年度限量系列，目標是把酒莊的經典風格放大呈現。這版以精選來自西班牙哈雷斯（Jerez）經雪莉調味的美洲與歐洲橡木桶熟成，並以較高酒精度裝瓶，讓香氣與層次更飽滿。聞香有焦糖、橙皮清香與烘烤木頭的暖意；入口厚實，先是蜜餞與香草的柔和甜感，接著肉桂、肉豆蔻等香料慢慢鋪開，木質香與一抹溫暖苦感平衡整體。酒體飽滿，餘韻長且帶慰藉感，非常適合慢慢品飲。生產方面強調手選雪莉桶與傳統蒸餾工藝；種植或原料來源則受惠於Speyside/Highlands 清澈水源與當地大麥，打造穩定而有地域感的風格。整體語調輕鬆但內涵豐富，適合與黑巧克力、乾酪或帶香料的烤肉搭配。

The Macallan Classic Cut 2024 is the first in an annual series designed to showcase a bold, concentrated expression of the distillery’s signature style. Matured exclusively in hand-picked, sherry-seasoned American and European oak casks from Jerez, Spain, this limited release is bottled at a higher strength to unlock intensified aromas and flavours. On the nose: rich caramel, orange zest and toasted oak with a honeyed veneer. The palate is full-bodied and indulgent — layers of dried fruits, vanilla, cinnamon and nutmeg arrive first, followed by soft oak spice and a gentle bitterness that keeps the balance. The alcohol is present but integrated, giving lift and structure rather than harshness. A satisfyingly long, warming finish underlines notes of oak spice and lingering citrus peel. Producer notes emphasise the hand-picked sherry casks and an intention to reveal a distinct, timeless character. Winemaking (distillation and maturation) highlights careful cask selection and a higher bottling strength to emphasise concentration. Though not a wine, think of the 'vineyard' equivalent here as Speyside/Highlands water sources, local barley provenance and traditional malting and distillation practices that feed into the final spirit.
