A distinctive single-cask release from Chichibu: Cask #3932 (2007), double-oaked and bottled at a bold 59% ABV. Aromas open with toasted oak, vanilla and warm baking spice, followed by layers of dark chocolate, dried fruit and a tobacco-leather note. The double oak maturation gives ripe caramel and cedar tannin, while the high strength keeps the palate lively and textured—rich, oily and full-bodied with a long, warming finish. Crafted in small batches at Chichibu, this is expressive, concentrated and made for slow sipping or pairing with rich-flavoured bites.
