Tasting note: Rich and layered, this Meursault Premier Cru opens with a fragrant bouquet of ripe apricot, white peach and citrus zest, followed by toasted hazelnut, honeyed notes and subtle vanilla from careful oak ageing. The palate is broad and silky, with a creamy mid-palate, bright mineral lift and a persistent, savory finish.

Producer notes: From Domaine Coche-Bizouard, a producer known for meticulous, low-yield viticulture and refined cellar work. Parcels in Les Gouttes d'Or produce concentrated, generous wines that retain clarity and terroir expression.

Winemaking notes: Fermentation and élevage include judicious use of new and seasoned oak with regular stirring of the fine lees to build texture and complexity. Partial malolactic conversion smooths acidity while preserving freshness; ageing gives the wine its toasty, nutty shoulders without overwhelming the fruit.
