Tasting note

品飲筆記:酒色深寶石紅,香氣層次豐富,有黑櫻桃與藍莓果醬感,伴隨甘草、奶糖與一抹橘皮香。入口多汁而優雅,紅櫻桃般的清新與細緻、整合良好的單寧互相支撐,藏有淡淡黑巧克力的回味。酒莊與生產:來自歷史悠久的拉路斯(列級二級),這款金玫瑰二牌定位為較早飲用但保有列級酒的質地與陳年潛力。田間與風土:全莊約82公頃,生長在第一更新世的加戎砾石土壤,平均樹齡約46年,全面依循有機與生物動力管理,機械以外以人工為主,並設有氣象站與嚴格防疫措施。採收時進行地塊篩選、田間與抵達後雙重篩選。釀造工藝:收穫後分箱入池,50%橡木與50%水泥控溫發酵槽,添加酵母促成發酵,之後以法國橡木桶熟成約14個月。口感建議:單寧細緻卻有支撐力,酸度帶來清爽節奏,適合醒酒1至2小時再飲,搭配燒烤紅肉、獵物類或熟成起司效果極佳。語氣輕鬆地說,這支二牌既有波爾多風格的嚴謹,又帶著友好的飲用姿態。

Tasting note: Deep ruby with a fragrant, layered nose of black-cherry and blackberry confit, hints of liquorice, nougat and a touch of orange zest. On the palate it’s juicy and elegant: bright red-cherry freshness sits alongside fine, well-integrated tannins and a subtle dark chocolate note on the finish. Producer & estate notes: From Chateau Gruaud-Larose (Classified 2ème Cru) — an historic Saint-Julien property now under the Taillan Group. The Sarget bottling is the estate’s second label, crafted to offer earlier approachability while retaining cru-classé character and ageing potential. Vineyard & terroir: 82 ha under vine on Garonne gravel dating to the first quaternary; average vine age ~46 years. The estate practices integrated pest control and manages the full surface according to Organic and Biodynamic principles. Manual harvest, vineyard sorting and double sorting at reception ensure quality fruit. Winemaking & ageing: Plot selection at reception; fermentation in 50% wood and 50% cement thermo-regulated tanks with yeast addition. Aged 14 months in French oak, this wine balances savory structure and fresh fruit. Vintage note: 2020 brought early vegetative growth, a challenging spring, then warm dry summer rescued by two late storms that preserved freshness and ripeness. Drinking window: 2024–2040. Serving: decant 1–2 hours for best aromatic lift. Pair with grilled or roasted red meats, game or aged cheeses.

Chateau Gruaud-Larose is a Classified Second Growth of Saint-Julien with deep historical roots in Bordeaux. The estate (82 ha) works its vineyards on classic Garonne gravel and has moved towards organic and biodynamic management across the property. Sarget de Gruaud-Larose is the estate's second wine, made to express terroir clarity with earlier approachability while maintaining the estate’s structural typicity. Current ownership is under the Taillan Group; operations include meticulous vineyard sorting, manual harvests and modern fermentation in both wood and cement tanks followed by French oak ageing.
