Tasting note
Tasting note: Bright, floral aromatics open to red cherry, wild strawberry and rose petal, framed by gentle spice and a subtle mineral thread. On the palate it is silky and precise — warm, powdery tannins support a long, polished finish while the mid-palate shows fine depth and freshness.
Producer & vineyard notes: From vineyards situated below the Bonnes Mares grand cru on red, iron-rich soils, this village Chambolle expresses the site’s finesse and elegance. The domaine is family-run and small, focusing on careful vineyard work and low yields to concentrate flavour.
Winemaking notes: Matured in small oak barrels (none new), vinification emphasizes gentle extraction and preservation of aromatic detail. The result is a refined, approachable wine with enough structure to age into the next decade.
Serve after a short decant to allow aromatics to bloom. Ideal with roasted duck, game birds, earthy mushroom dishes and aged semi-firm cheeses.
