The palate is crisp with bright acidity, medium-light body and a refreshing, slightly creamy texture that carries delicate spice and tropical hints to a clean finish. Producer Notes: From a boutique California label known for inventive blends, this 2021 release marks the inaugural blanc de noir on the Blindfold label. Owned and guided by a hands-on team with a taste for approachable, modern wines, the winery reimagined its white offering with a focus on balance and drinkability. Winemaking Notes: Fruit was handled gently and pressed soon after harvest to limit skin extraction, followed by cool, controlled fermentation to preserve aromatics. A portion of the wine saw neutral-aging to add texture while keeping fruit vibrancy, finishing with light filtration for clarity. Vineyard Notes: Sourced from California sites that benefit from cooling influences—morning fog and diurnal swings—vineyards feature well-drained soils and attentive viticulture.
