A refined Saint‑Julien from a classed-growth estate, this 2005 displays an intense bouquet of black fruits, dried herbs and warm spice lifted by floral and cedar notes. On the palate it is medium–full and well-balanced: rounded, plush fruit supported by silky yet present tannins and a lively acidity that keeps the wine focused. Matured 18 months in oak, it shows subtle vanilla and tobacco layers with an earthy, long finish. The vineyard sits on deep Garonne gravel on the hilltop, delivering ripe, concentrated grapes in a warm, dry growing season.
