Tasting note

品飲筆記:深寶石紅,前調以黑櫻桃、黑莓與熟李子為主,並伴隨松露、煙草與一抹糖橘皮的香氣。口感圓潤絲滑,層次分明,苦可可、濃縮咖啡與甘草的味道交織,細緻橡木與礦物感托起整體結構。酒莊背景:布聶夫自1821年由Vayron家族耕耘至今,家族傳承與現代釀法互補;自2008年起由Frédérique掌管釀造,注重在地風土與細節。釀造工藝:採控溫混凝土發酵槽,約十四個月的法國橡木桶陳年,重視果實純淨與單寧平衡。葡萄園與土壤:座落於朝西的緩坡地形,礫石黏土覆蓋鐵質底土,老藤平均約四十年,全年以傳統而細心的方式管理。這瓶酒現在醒瓶飲用可見開放度,亦適合長期陳放,建議醒酒一小時左右以釋放香氣。

Tasting note: Deep ruby with a fragrant bouquet of dark cherry, blackberry and plum, edged by truffle, tobacco and subtle candied orange. On the palate it’s plush and layered—silky textures carry flavors of cocoa, espresso and a hint of licorice, supported by fine French oak and a fresh mineral thread. Producer notes: Owned by the Vayron family since 1821 and tended today with a modern yet respectful approach, the estate benefits from premier Pomerol neighbours and long family stewardship. Frédérique Vayron has overseen winemaking since 2008, bringing clarity and elegance to the house style. Winemaking notes: Grapes are fermented in thermo-regulated concrete tanks and matured for about 14 months in French oak, producing a wine that marries ripe fruit concentration with poised structure. Vineyard notes: The west-facing, gently sloping plots sit on gravelly clay with an iron-rich subsoil; vines average around 40 years and are managed traditionally, parcel by parcel. Drink window runs long—this vintage is approachable with decanting now but will reward cellaring for decades.

Chateau Bourgneuf is a historic family estate in the heart of Pomerol, cared for by the Vayron family since 1821. The property combines traditional vineyard management with contemporary winemaking overseen by Frédérique Vayron since 2008. Small parcel attention, west-facing slopes and an iron-rich subsoil give the wines their textural depth and mineral lift. Vinification uses thermo-regulated concrete tanks and French oak ageing to preserve purity while adding structure.
