Chateau Cantemerle 2021 captures the essence of classic, refined Left Bank Bordeaux with an uplifting, approachable edge. Hailing from deep quaternary gravel terraces in southern Haut-Medoc, this historic 1855 Classified Growth underwent meticulous fruit sorting and aged for 12 months in fine French oak. The palate delivers crisp red currants, juicy Morello cherries, and subtle tobacco spice layered over supple, powdery tannins and vibrant acidity. Energetic, digestible, and beautifully poised, it offers instant charm without demanding a decade in the cellar.
