The palate is medium‑full with polished, layered tannins and an energetic mineral lift that carries a long, savory finish.
Producer notes: From the historic Clos de Vougeot, the collaboration between Labet & Dechelette and Château de La Tour aims to express the vineyard’s steep, limestone‑rich terroir. Vines are hand‑tended within the walled clos to preserve site character.
Winemaking notes: Fermentation follows traditional Burgundian practice with attentive extraction to balance power and finesse. The wine was matured in French oak for around 14–18 months with a portion of new barrels to add structure and subtle spice without masking the site expression.
