Tasting Note: Deep garnet with purple edges. Aromas open to ripe black fruits—blackberry, black plum and dark cherry—layered with cedar, sandalwood, espresso, truffle and violet. On the palate it’s medium‑to‑full bodied, silky and polished: juicy acidity lifts concentrated dark-fruit layers while fine, ripe tannins provide structure and a long, seamless finish. Producer Notes: Château Hosanna, long known on the Pomerol plateau (formerly Château Certan Giraud), has been in the care of Etablissements J.-P. Moueix since 1999. The estate draws on a rich local history and meticulous cellar standards to craft wines built for both early pleasure and long-term aging. Winemaking Notes: 2021 was handled with gentle, controlled maceration in thermo-regulated concrete and stainless-steel vats to preserve aromatic lift, followed by circa 14 months maturation in French oak that adds spice, cedar and a polished texture without overwhelming the fruit. Vineyard Notes: Located on Pomerol’s plateau with historic plantings dating back generations, yields in 2021 were low, concentrating flavors and tannin ripeness. Harvest was late September to early October, producing a wine that balances ripe density with freshness and mineral tension.

Château Hosanna sits on the historic Pomerol plateau and was long known as Château Certan Giraud. Acquired by Etablissements J.-P. Moueix in 1999, the estate combines deep local tradition with modern cellar practices: careful yield control, precise thermoregulated fermentations and thoughtful oak ageing to produce wines of concentration, silkiness and longevity.
