This 2015 Château Lascombes is a textbook Margaux of power married with elegance. The nose opens generously with ripe black fruit — cassis, plum and dark cherry — layered with cedar, mocha and discreet graphite. On the palate it is concentrated and plush yet lively: a fleshy mid‑palate, fine powdery tannins and well‑integrated oak create a silky texture. The wine shows depth and precision with mineral threads and a very long, persistent finish. Crafted with meticulous hand-harvest, parcel sorting and gentle infusion vinification (maceration 20–30 days) before 18 months ageing in oak and amphora, it balances opulence and freshness and will continue to evolve for years.

Château Lascombes, a Second Growth from Margaux, pairs classical Médoc structure with modern precision. Under recent ownership by the MACSF Group, the estate has invested in careful viticulture and cellar work: hand harvesting in multiple passes, meticulous sorting, gentle infusion vinification and targeted maceration lengths decided by daily tastings. Ageing combines fine oak and amphora to integrate tannin and oak while preserving fruit expression.
