Tasting Note: Deep, opaque ruby with purple rim. Aromas of ripe black cherry, plum compote, kirsch and a perfume of wild flowers lead to layers of dark chocolate, cocoa dust and subtle tangerine zest. On the palate the wine is plush and concentrated — juicy dark fruits framed by silky, powdery tannins and a polished line of acidity that lifts the finish. Hints of fig, light pruney sweetness and soft spice linger. Producer Notes: Named for the tower that crowns the estate, Latour à Pomerol has been associated with the Loubat and Moueix families for generations. Farmed by Établissements Jean‑Pierre Moueix since 1962 and acquired by the family in 2024, the domaine focuses on classic Pomerol harmony and depth. Winemaking Notes: Fermented in thermo‑regulated concrete and stainless steel vats with gentle, controlled maceration and extraction to preserve purity and elegance. Aged 12–14 months in French oak (circa 50% new), allowing oak spice and vanillin to integrate without overpowering the fruit. Vineyard Notes: The estate benefits from a mosaic of soils — gravel and clay parcels near the church of Pomerol and loam around the château — giving both structure and textural complexity. Low yields and attentive viticulture yield concentrated, finely textured fruit. Serving Suggestion: Decant an hour to an hour and a half before serving. Cellar potential is long; approachable now but will continue to develop through the 2030s and beyond.

The domaine combines meticulous viticulture with a respect for classical Pomerol style.
