品飲備註:這支酒成熟而有深度,前陣子打開便有黑果、雪松、微妙的煙燻和森林蘑菇香氣,口感厚實、果實集中卻不失優雅,單寧光滑有咀嚼感,餘韻悠長帶些礦物鹹感。 酒莊小故事:巴頓莊園一向以穩健傳統著稱,這款被稱作「圓潤而豐滿」,帶著烤香與熏烤的氣息,整體呈現一種沉靜而從容的美感,適合慢慢品味。 釀造與窖藏:全部手工採收,去梗後嚴格篩選,置入溫控木槽發酵,發酵期約7–10日,浸皮約三週,之後分批入桶陳年16–18個月,約六成新桶法國橡木,窖溫保持在約15°C。 葡萄園風土:坐落在加宏河砂礫的經典山頭,黏土與砂礫的下層有助於調節水分與生長,使藤根吸收出帶礦感和結構感的果實。耕作以傳統翻土為主,不使用除草劑,強調土地與果實的純粹性。 建議醒酒90分鐘,搭配燒烤或牛排最能彰顯它的力量與細緻(尤其是較油脂的紅肉或成熟硬質起司)。

Tasting note: Deep, brooding and classically Saint-Julien — aromas of cassis, cedar, smoked earth, leather and a hint of forest mushrooms lead to a full-bodied palate with concentrated dark fruit, saline minerality and lustrous, supple tannins. Oak seasoning is present but harmonious, delivering long, persistent flavors. Producer notes: Described by the château as “round and fleshy,” this vintage shows grilled and roasted nuances that mingle with a refined oak shadow. The texture is unctuous and serenely composed, inviting slow enjoyment over several hours. Winemaking: Hand-harvested fruit is destemmed, rigorously sorted and fermented in thermo-regulated wooden vats with sensitive extraction (7–10 days alcoholic fermentation; roughly three weeks maceration). The wine is aged 16–18 months in French oak barrels, about 60% new, in a cellar kept at 15°C. Vineyard: Planted on a classic Garonne gravel hilltop with clay-gravel subsoil that tempers vintage variation. Traditional ploughing is used, with no herbicide application, producing healthy, well-drained fruit that reflects the terroir’s minerality and structure. Serve with a 90-minute decant to open its layers. Drinks beautifully now for those who appreciate mature structure, and will continue to evolve in bottle through the coming decades.
