Château Pontet-Canet — a Fifth Growth in Pauillac owned by Alfred Tesseron. The estate (81 ha) is certified organic and biodynamic (Ecocert, Biodyvin, Demeter); gravel soils drive classic Pauillac structure. Current team under Jean‑Michel Comme with consultant Michel Rolland focuses on terroir expression; harvest by hand, indigenous yeast fermentations, and a maturation regime blending new French oak and concrete amphorae.
