Conceived by brothers Georges and Daniel Daou, Bodyguard captures the quintessence of California white wine opulence. Sourced from ocean-cooled coastal sites in Santa Barbara County, the fruit undergoes cold fermentation to preserve pristine aromatic purity before resting for 10 months in a bespoke combination of 30% new French oak and 30% new American oak. The result is a voluptuous, golden-hued wine brimming with baked apple, poached pear, ripe peach, and butterscotch. American oak imparts toasted maple and spice nuances, while the vibrant coastal chill retains mouthwatering freshness that balances its rich, creamy texture across a decadent finish.
