Tasting note: Bright garnet colour with an aromatic bouquet that opens to red cherry, raspberry and redcurrant, layered with forest-floor, gentle spice and a delicate mushroom/mineral thread. On the palate it shows elegant freshness, silky but present tannins and a medium-plus finish that lingers on savory and pure red-fruit notes. Producer notes: From a respected Beaune Premier Cru site, this bottling reflects a small, terroir-focused domaine that emphasises precision in both vineyard and cellar. The wine expresses site character—poise, clarity and a saline mineral edge—typical of top Beaune parcels. Winemaking notes: Hand-harvested fruit, careful sorting and gentle extraction yield fine-grained tannins and lifted aromatics. Matured in French oak with measured use of new barrels to support structure without dominating fruit; élevage aims for balance and early approachability while preserving aging potential. Vineyard notes: Les Reverses sits on classic Côte-facing slopes with well-draining soils that encourage concentrated flavours and elegant acid backbone.
