Tasting Note: Bright, Amalfi-lemon citrus greets the nose, joined by white flowers, toasted almond and a hint of vanilla from gentle oak influence. The palate is medium-bodied, fresh and well-rounded with a creamy mid-palate and a chalky mineral thread that carries a long, clean finish. Producer Notes: From Domaine Bitouzet-Prieur's parcels on the Volnay side of Meursault, the 2023 Les Corbins Blanc reflects the estate's modern freshness and classical Côte de Beaune structure. Ownership and winemaking are overseen by Vincent and François Bitouzet. Winemaking Notes: Fermented and aged in small oak barrels, of which roughly 20% were new, the wine shows integrated oak spice and toasted notes without overpowering the fruit. Lees contact and careful élevage build texture and length. Vineyard Notes: Sourced from three parcels on the Volnay-facing slopes of Meursault, the fruit benefits from limestone-rich soils that contribute a chalky minerality and focused acidity. A poised wine for near-term drinking or short cellaring. Cellaring & Serving: Drinking window 2028–2034. Best served lightly chilled; open about 30 minutes before serving to allow aromas to broaden.

Domaine Bitouzet-Prieur is a family-run estate in Meursault, currently led by Vincent and François Bitouzet. The domaine farms small, well-sited parcels—including holdings on the Volnay side of Meursault—and produces wines that balance modern freshness with classic Burgundy structure. Les Corbins Blanc is a good example of their measured use of oak (small barrels, ~20% new) and attention to texture and minerality.
