On the palate it is refined and focused — bright, energetic acidity carries concentrated fruit while silky, polished tannins provide structure and poise. Flavours linger with mineral undertones and a long, savory finish. Producer notes: From the small, highly regarded Claude Dugat domaine in Gevrey-Chambertin, this bottling reflects the house’s commitment to low yields, careful selection and terroir expression. The wines are known for their finesse and ability to marry power with elegance. Winemaking notes: Fermented with attention to gentle extraction to preserve aromatic lift, this wine is matured in French oak with a measured use of new barrels to support the fruit without overwhelming it.
