Bright, terroir-driven Gevrey-Chambertin from a small, highly regarded family domaine. Aromas of red cherry, wild strawberry and raspberry move into floral and forest-floor notes, with a spine of mineral and gentle spice. On the palate the wine is medium-bodied with vibrant acidity, fine-grained, silky tannins and well-integrated oak, leading to a long, savory finish. Producer practices prioritise low yields, careful hand-harvesting and plot-by-plot attention to express the village’s limestone soils and hillside exposure. Fermentation and extraction are handled gently to preserve purity of fruit, followed by ageing in French oak to add structure and subtle spice without overwhelming the wine’s natural aromatic finesse.
