Underneath is a clear flinty minerality that keeps the palate focused. The texture is creamy and layered from mid-palate to a long, saline finish with lingering savory notes. Producer notes: Domaine Hubert Lamy is a small, family domaine led by Olivier Lamy, respected for meticulous vineyard work and precise cellar handling. Les Tremblots Vieilles Vignes is a concentrated parcel (0.90 ha) planted in 1946 and 1970, giving concentrated, deeply rooted fruit that reflects Puligny’s limestone terroir. Winemaking notes: Fruit is hand-harvested and handled gently, pressed and fermented in French oak barrels with a portion of new wood. The wine spends extended time on fine lees with careful bâtonnage to build creaminess and complexity while preserving freshness and minerality. Vineyard notes: The parcel totals about 0.90 hectares of old vines, planted in 1946 and 1970, farmed for balance and low yields. Soils of the climat lend stony, calcareous minerality and excellent drainage, producing wines of clarity, tension and textural depth.
