The palate is concentrated from high-density planting, offering a silky, almost creamy texture balanced by fresh, energetic acidity and a mineral, saline finish that lingers. Producer Notes: From Domaine Hubert Lamy’s Les Tremblots parcel, the 'Haute Densite' cuvée revives traditional high-density planting to encourage competition at the root level and build concentration in small yields. This is Olivier Lamy’s project to express a tight, terroir-driven style with finesse. Winemaking Notes: The wine is carefully vinified to preserve freshness while adding textural depth through élevage in French oak barrels. The approach emphasizes balance — restrained oak influence, subtle lees influence and precise maturation to highlight clarity and length rather than overt oak character. Vineyard Notes: Sourced from a modest, high-density vineyard in the climat Les Tremblots, planted in the Burgundian tradition (around 30,000 vines/ha). Soils are limestone-rich with good drainage, producing grapes of intense mineral concentration and fine phenolic ripeness. Low yields and meticulous viticulture translate into concentrated, terroir-expressive fruit.
