Tasting note

This Meursault Les Perchots from Domaine Boisson (Boisson-Vadot 'Pierre Boisson') opens with a generous bouquet of toasted hazelnut, warm brioche and ripe orchard fruit — ripe peach and baked apple — framed by citrus peel and a subtle mineral streak. On the palate it is plush and rounded, with a creamy mid-palate from careful élevage in oak and gentle lees stirring, while balanced acidity gives energy and lift. Barrel influence brings vanilla and light spice rather than overt oakiness, and the finish is saline and persistent. Ideal now with a short decant to let the aromatics bloom, it will also reward gentle cellaring.

Winery

Domaine Boisson Frère et Soeur (Boisson-Vadot) is a traditional family domaine based in Meursault, focused on expressing individual vineyard parcels. Small-scale farming, selective picking and restrained use of new oak are hallmarks of their approach. Fruit is typically barrel-fermented and aged on the lees to build texture, while careful élevage preserves acidity and terroir expression.
