2018 Esprit de Saint-Pierre opens with black cherry, plum and a wash of candied orange zest, then cedar and clove spice weave through. Mouthfeel is juicy and medium-full; tannins are ripe and framing rather than aggressive, finishing with a touch of nougat. It drinks with charm now but has cellar potential across the decade.
