品飲筆記:酒色深寶石紅,邊緣透出紫色光澤。香氣以黑莓、藍莓和成熟櫻桃為主調,伴隨李子甜感與一抹糖漬橙皮,還有雪松與丁香的細緻香料感。入口多汁、結構優雅,成熟而細緻的單寧托住豐富果實,餘韻帶有輕柔的牛奶糖/牛油糖(nougat)甜感。 酒莊與生產:這支「聖皮爾精神」為酒莊的第二酒,出自馬丁家族經營的Saint‑Julien酒莊,定位更早飲且易親近,但仍保留產區經典風格。釀造上從葡萄園分級、精選果實,釀時控制浸皮與萃取,入桶陳年以柔化單寧、融合香氣。 葡萄園與土壤:來自聖朱利安典型的碎石礫石土,排水良好、受大西洋氣候調節,讓果實成熟均衡,風味帶有微微泥土感與左岸經典的精緻結構。整體口感順滑,單寧扎實但已經親切,適合搭配烤或煎製的紅肉料理。
Tasting Note: Deep ruby with subtle purple edges. The nose opens with fresh dark berries—blackberry and blueberry—alongside cherry and plum, lifted by candied orange zest and a cedar-clove spice thread. On the palate it’s juicy and elegantly balanced: ripe, polished tannins support a supple core of fruit and a fine nougat-like finish. Producer Notes: Esprit de Saint‑Pierre is the approachable second wine from Chateau Saint‑Pierre, produced under the Martin family ownership. Crafted to offer earlier drinkability while reflecting the estate’s classic Saint‑Julien character. Winemaking Notes: Fruit is selected from parcels suited to the second wine, vinified with attention to extraction and freshness, then matured in oak to round tannins and integrate spice—resulting in a wine that marries freshness with gentle oak influence. Vineyard Notes: From the gravelly, well-draining soils of Saint‑Julien on the Médoc left bank, vines benefit from maritime influence and steady ripening. The result is structured fruit with an earthy, classic Médoc thread and poised acidity—an ideal match for roast and grilled red meats.
