Tasting note
Tasting Note: Bright and compelling, this dry white opens with a perfume of white flowers and ripe pear, edged by citrus zest. Beneath the fruit sits a distinctive volcanic impression — wet stone, flint and a subtle smoky thread — that carries through to a long, saline-tinged finish. On the palate it is medium-bodied, taut and textured, with lively acidity and a clean, persistent dry aftertaste. Producer & Winemaking: Produced by a household name in the Veneto, this bottling is handled with quiet confidence and restraint. The team pursues low-intervention techniques to highlight site character: careful sourcing, gentle extraction, and a combination of neutral vessels for fermentation and short lees contact to lend texture without masking freshness. Cork closure preserves its aromatic lift. Vineyard Notes: Grapes are drawn from vineyards rooted in basalt-rich soils; those volcanic layers give the wine its trademark smokiness and mineral drive. Cooler nights in the growing season promote crisp acidity and aromatic intensity. Yields are kept moderate to concentrate flavour and maintain balance.

Giuseppe Quintarelli is a storied name in Veneto winemaking, renowned for meticulous, traditionally minded craft. Though famed for red specialities, the estate’s white bottling is treated with the same respect for terroir and patience: small-lot selection, careful cellar work and a preference for letting site expression speak plainly in the glass.
