Tasting note
Tasting Note: A classic Pauillac second wine showing concentrated dark-fruit aromas—blackcurrant and plum—framed by cedar, tobacco and graphite. The palate is full-bodied with firm yet mature tannins, a mineral gravelly backbone and a long, savory finish. Producer Notes: Echo de Lynch-Bages is the second wine from Château Haut-Bages Averous, a Pauillac property long associated with Lynch-Bages and today part of the Famille J.M. Cazes holdings. The “Echo” name recalls the estate’s link to its parent château and its voice in the Lynch-Bages family. Vineyard & Winemaking: Vines sit on classic Garonne gravel which gives驱 the wine its mineral lift. Grapes are hand-picked and sorted at the vineyard. Fermentation and élevage were carried out with care, including 12 months in one-year-old French oak barrels, resulting in well-integrated oak and polished tannins. Serving: Best enjoyed after a good decant (about 60 minutes) to open aromas and soften edges. Matches especially well with red meats and mature cheeses.

Château Lynch-Bages (Haut-Bages Averous) — a Pauillac property long linked to the Lynch-Bages estate and managed by the Famille J.M. Cazes. Echo de Lynch-Bages became the official second wine identity for Haut-Bages Averous, offering a more immediate expression of the estate's gravelly terroir while reflecting the family's winemaking tradition.
