2021 Pio Cesare Piodilei Chardonnay Langhe DOC

品飲筆記：色澤淡金帶綠，前段以熟蘋果、牛奶糖與白花香打頭，接著有檸檬皮與茉莉、剛割過草地的清新感。口感豐滿，奶油般的質地與派皮、香草豆的甜香交錯，但中段有一股細緻的酚性張力與石感支撐，收尾香料味綿長。
酒莊與釀造：來自皮埃蒙特歷史酒莊，現由Federica Rosy Boffa掌管，注重在成熟度與平衡間取得精準。釀造時以木桶發酵，並在法國橡木小桶中陳放約一年（新桶、1年與2年舊桶各約三分之一），裝瓶前再行熟成，讓橡木與果實自然融合。
葡萄園與風土：葡萄來自朗格知名園址，包含Treiso與Monforte的老樹地塊，土壤礦物性明顯，賦予酒款厚實的果實感與礦物輪廓。建議醒酒45分鐘，海鮮或帶奶香的料理會是很好的搭配。

Tasting note: Pale straw with a green tinge, this Langhe bottling opens to aromas of cooked apple, nougat, honeysuckle and delicate citrus, layered with jasmine and a hint of freshly cut grass. On the palate it is full-bodied and concentrated, showing creamy, pie‑crust and vanilla notes framed by fine phenolic grip and a stony mineral backbone that carries to a long, spicy finish.
Producer notes: From a historic Piedmont estate run under Federica Rosy Boffa, this wine reflects the house’s dedication to ripe, balanced white wines with both power and elegance.
Winemaking notes: Grapes are fermented in wood and matured for a year in French barriques (roughly one third new, one third one‑year, one third two‑year), followed by further bottle aging before release. The oak treatment provides structure and spice without overwhelming the fruit.
Vineyard notes: Fruit is sourced from older vines planted in notable Langhe sites (including parcels in Treiso and Monforte), contributing ripe concentration and mineral detail. Drink now with a 30–60 minute decant, or cellar short term to 2027–2035 for added integration.
