Tasting note

來自聖朱利安名莊的二軍之作,2019 年款帶出沉穩又有魅力的酒格。香氣以雪松、菸草與細緻橡木為基底,混合熟李、藍莓與無花果的果香,並有一抹糖橙皮的亮點。入口中等偏厚,果實飽滿多汁,單寧細緻而有支撐感,礦物感與可可的尾韻交織出悠長收結。酒莊背景與田間管理同樣吸引:拉路斯為二級列級名莊,現由 Taillan 集團營運,葡萄園約 82 公頃,座落於六十萬年沉積的加龍河卵礫石上,平均株齡約 46 年,全面依循有機與生物動力原則管理,人工採收並在田間與進廠時雙重篩選。釀造方面採分地塊接收與篩選、50% 木槽與 50% 水泥槽溫控發酵,添加選育酵母,陳年 18–24 個月於法國細木紋橡木桶(約 80% 新桶)。建議醒酒 45–60 分鐘後享用,配牛排或羊肉最合拍,也很適合搭配成熟硬質起司。

A refined second wine from a classified Saint-Julien estate, this 2019 Sarget shows a classic, Médoc profile: cedar and tobacco framing ripe plum and red-berry fruit, with delicate fig and blueberry notes and a lift of candied orange zest. The palate is medium-plus in body, juicy and well-layered, with fine, well-integrated tannins and a mineral thread that leads to a long, cocoa-tinged finish. Producer highlights: Chateau Gruaud‑Larose (2ème Cru Classé) is managed by the Taillan Group and works its 82 ha on ancient Garonne gravel with organic and biodynamic principles. Vineyard practices include manual harvest, leaf-thinning, green harvest and selection in the vineyard plus double sorting at reception. Winemaking: harvests are double-received and parcel-sorted; fermentation occurs in a mix of wood and cement (50/50) with selected yeasts; élevage is 18–24 months in fine-grain French oak (about 80% new). Drink now with an initial decant or cellar through the 2030s for added complexity.

The team emphasizes careful vineyard work—manual harvesting, green-harvest and leaf thinning—and modern, parcel-based winemaking. The estate combines traditional élevage in fine-grain French oak with rigorous selection to produce both a grand vin and a refined second wine.
