A lithe, perfumed red from a Hautes Côtes hilltop 'clos', this 2021 shows bright red-fruit aromatics and a floral lift. On the palate it is light-to-medium in body with lively acidity framing flavors of cherry, wild strawberry and soft forest-earth notes, finishing with gentle spice and silky, fine-grained tannins. Winemaking favors gentle extraction and moderate élevage that preserves primary fruit and terroir expression. Drink now through the near term while its freshness and perfume are at their best.
