品酒筆記:杯色深沉,帶紫紅邊,先聞到成熟的黑色水果香氣,像黑醋栗與黑莓,跟著有雪茄盒木質、香草、微熱巧克力與黑胡椒的香料感。入口厚實飽滿,果味濃郁而直接,橡木與烘烤香料包裹著紮實但細緻的單寧,收結長而溫暖。 酒莊背景:天玥(Spellbound)由 Robert Mondavi Jr. 旗下的一個價值導向品牌,定位是在加州能夠展現豐富果味又帶結構性的風格,價格親民、風味有層次。 釀造工序:以不鏽鋼槽發酵以保留新鮮果香,之後放入新舊橡木桶陳年約10–14個月,藉由適度的桶陳與攪桶取得香草、烘烤和巧克力的複合香;在萃取和過濾處理上採溫和手法,保留順口的質地。 葡萄園與田地:葡萄來自加州多個日夜溫差明顯的產地,白天日照充足促成熟、夜間降溫保留酸度。土壤以排水良好的壤土與礫石為主,產量控制讓果實風味更集中。 口感提示:口感厚實、有彈性,單寧有支撐力但不粗糙。建議先醒約45分鐘,飲用溫度16–18°C,搭配燒烤紅肉、燉牛肋或味道厚重的起司都很合適。

Tasting note: Deep garnet with an inviting nose of ripe black fruits—blackcurrant, blackberry and dark cherry—lifted by cedar, vanilla pod and a touch of mocha and black pepper. On the palate the wine is generous and concentrated: layered fruit framed by toasted oak and firm, structured tannins that give a broad, full-bodied mouthfeel and a long, warming finish. Producer notes: From Spellbound Wines (owned by Robert Mondavi Jr.), this bottling aims for ripe, approachable intensity with classic oak influence and cellar-ready structure. It sits squarely in a bold, structured California style designed for both immediate enjoyment and short-term cellaring. Winemaking: Fermented in stainless steel to preserve primary fruit, then matured in a mix of new and seasoned oak for approximately 10–14 months to build texture and spice complexity. Moderate lees contact and gentle extraction maintain the wine’s plush fruit while retaining backbone. Vineyard: Sourced from warm California sites with good diurnal temperature shifts—warm days and cooler nights—allowing fruit to ripen fully while preserving acidity. Soils tend toward well-draining loam and gravel; yields are controlled to concentrate flavours. Serving suggestion: Best served slightly cool (16–18°C) and given a short decant (about 45 minutes) to open up. Pairs naturally with grilled and roasted red meats, hearty Mexican dishes, and aged hard cheeses.
