A lively and distinctly Piedmontese red, this 2023 release opens with bright aromas of red cherry, cranberry and rose petal, edged by white pepper and a touch of herbal lift. On the palate it is light to medium-bodied with crisp, lively acidity that gives the wine an energetic, almost citrus-like lift. Flavours of tart red fruit, pomegranate and a faint mineral thread are wrapped in fine, slightly gritty tannins that keep the wine fresh and food-friendly. Winemaking favours gentle extraction and purity: hand-harvested fruit, brief maceration, fermentation at controlled temperatures and ageing mainly in stainless steel and neutral vessels to preserve aromatic clarity. The result is an aromatic, restrained wine with a savory finish—excellent slightly chilled and ideal for casual sharing.

Tenute Garetto is a small, family-run estate tucked into the rolling hills of the Grignolino-producing zone of Piedmont. The team focuses on low yields and careful vineyard work: vines on calcareous-clay soils, south to southwest exposures, hand-harvested parcels and gentle cellar handling. The house style aims for clarity and expression of place rather than heavy oak influence.
