Tasting note

Deep garnet in the glass, this vintage opens with aromas of crème de cassis, mulberry and dried plum, edged by blackberry tart, allspice, pepper and a hint of lavender. On the palate it is full and powerful yet refined: concentrated dark fruit rides on a backbone of fine, medium-to-firm tannins and well-balanced acidity, culminating in a very long, seductive finish. Crafted by Two Hands Wines under winemaker Ben Perkins, the wine reflects careful small-batch attention during fermentation and thoughtful oak maturation to integrate spice and structure. Sourced from warm, low-yield Barossa sites managed by Travis Coombe, the result is a concentrated, age-worthy red built for the table and slow evolution in bottle.
