【Winemaker & Producer Notes】
Made under winemaker Ben Perkins with vineyard oversight by Travis Coombe and owner Michael Twelftree’s guiding vision. Fruit is harvested from a chosen Barossa block, kept low-yield and handled to preserve ripe tannin structure. Fermentation and extended oak ageing (carefully selected coopers and toasting levels) deliver density without clumsy extraction.

【Winemaking & Vineyard Notes】
Single-block picking captures warm days and cooling nights of Barossa Valley — resulting in concentrated dark-fruit flavours with peppery spice and savoury depth. Oak ageing adds cocoa, espresso and smoky nuances while softening edges.

【Sommelier Notes】
On the nose, deep blackberry and black plum lead, joined by black pepper, dark chocolate and a hint of olive tapenade. The palate is full and layered: dense fruit, firm ripe tannins and a savoury core that keeps giving. Best decanted for 45–75 minutes to open the mid-palate and release tertiary notes.
