Tasting note

來自懷塔基河穀一小片獨立園的清新白酒，香氣以檸檬花與青蘋果為主軸，帶出一抹花香與岩石礦感。口感爽脆，酸度活潑，果味緊湊，少量的澱粉接觸與細膩的釀造手法讓中段有圓潤感，但整體依舊保持清爽利落。酒莊採用人工採收，低溫不鏽鋼發酵並保留部分與澱粉接觸以提升質地，葡萄園位於靠近河流的石質土壤，海風與日夜溫差明顯，造就明快的礦感與良好陳年骨架。開瓶可稍微醒香，搭配海鮮或帶辣料理特別合拍。

Bright and focused from a cool coastal site in the Waitaki Valley, this single-vineyard white opens with lifted scents of lime blossom, citrus zest and green orchard fruit, edged by floral perfume and a hint of wet stone. The palate is lively—zesty acidity drives through a compact core of citrus and orchard fruit, while a subtle saline minerality and a touch of lees-texture give the mid-palate a pleasing breadth. Crafted with a hands-on approach at the winery: grapes are picked for freshness, gently pressed, and fermented at cool temperatures in stainless steel to preserve aromatic clarity; a small portion sees extended lees contact for added texture before early bottling to lock in freshness. Ideal young but with enough structure to hold 4–8 years, this wine showcases the cool-climate terroir: stony soils, river influence and strong diurnal range that produce focused acidity and a mineral backbone.
