2016 Domaine Georges Lignier & Fils Clos Saint Denis Grand Cru

The 2016 Domaine Georges Lignier & Fils Clos Saint-Denis Grand Cru is a testament to the finesse and elegance that Burgundy's Cote de Nuits is renowned for. With a bouquet that weaves reductive flintiness with smoky nuances and the tart vibrancy of red currants, this wine captivates the senses. On the palate, it presents a slender and taut structure, where the freshness and elegance are paramount, leading to a concentrated yet seemingly weightless core. The result is a bright, sublimely vivid wine that radiates purity and intensity. Decanting for an hour allows its complexities to unfold, making it an excellent companion to dishes like mushroom risotto or Zuni chicken. With its silky finish, this Grand Cru promises to enchant for years to come.
