On the palate it is full-bodied and silky, with velvety yet substantial tannins, lively acidity and a long, savory finish with thyme and mineral echoes. Producer & Vineyard: From Famille Perrin’s Coudoulet terroir — a molasse seabed of Miocene age overlain by diluvial alpine pebbles, a soil profile akin to Châteauneuf‑du‑Pape — which gives the wine its chalky-mineral lift and Mediterranean aromatics. Winemaking & Ageing: Crafted and aged for six months in large oak foudres to preserve fruit purity while adding gentle structure. Bottled with cork closure; dry style at 14.5% ABV.
