2017 Au Pied du Mont Chauve Chassagne Montrachet 1er Les Chaumees Blanc

The 2017 Au Pied du Mont Chauve Les Chaumees Blanc from the Chassagne-Montrachet Premier Cru region in France is a high-quality wine that can be enjoyed while young. This wine offers a refreshing minerality and a balance of flavors like green apple, white peach, citrus, and white flowers. The nose evokes red currant and red cherry, while the palate brings freshness and pure fruit intensity, slightly edged with oaky smokiness. A touch of tannin provides some structure, but this wine is all about red-fruited charm and elegance. Perfectly paired with game birds, ribeye, or beef ribs.
