A refined vintage rosé from a Grand Cru hillside, this 2008 Brut Nature shows a glowing salmon-pink hue and an aromatic pulse of warm spice, balsamic lift and plum-scented red fruit. On the palate it is surprisingly generous yet kept taut by bright acidity; fine, persistent bubbles carry silky texture and savoury spice to a crisp, dry finish. Producer notes: Louis Dousset is a grower-producer focused on terroir expression from Verzenay, hand-harvesting and low-intervention work in the cellars. Winemaking: made by the saignée method and vinified by traditional method with extended lees ageing before release; zero dosage (Brut Nature) preserves pure fruit and mineral clarity. Vineyard: sourced from Grand Cru slopes with chalky, well-drained soils and cool microclimate that lend precision and saline energy. Serve gently chilled; allow 15–30 minutes after opening to settle and show its layered spice and plum notes.
