The palate is concentrated and full-bodied yet remarkably silky, showing juicy mid‑palate drive, chalky, well-defined tannins and a citrus‑tinged mineral finish that lingers. Producer Notes: From a classified Saint‑Emilion estate, the grand vin is produced from a manual harvest with rigorous selection of the ripest fruit. The 2022 shows notable power and a tight structure balanced by refined texture. Winemaking Notes: Vinification is carefully adapted to each vat, with small, subtle tweaks to extraction and maceration to respect the character of each parcel. The wine received approximately one year of maturation in merrain oak barrels, enhancing spice and cedar without overwhelming the fruit. Vineyard Notes: Planted on the classic Saint‑Emilion limestone and clay‑limestone slopes, yields were controlled (≈42 hl/ha) and harvesting was early (Sept 6–23) to capture purity and aromatic lift.
